Amber Perez

It wasn't a film or director that inspired me to pursue entertainment, but the ways in which media shaped discourse and changed people's lives. At 19, I realized I wanted to become a literary manager and have fallen in love with artists who show the light, hope, and fun in some of the darkest moments in life across all genres, subcultures, and cultures; I have a soft spot for Southern and international stories as a Miami-born Cuban. Some of my favorites are STAR WARS, MR. ROBOT, LOS FRIKIS, THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, and THE LIGHTHOUSE.

When I'm not working, you can catch me rocking out to My Chemical Romance, spending way too much money seeing Broadway shows, and making croquetas from scratch.
